  Samuel H. Morrill... The H. is for Danger! { Wednesday, April 23, 2008 | Comment # }    We are very busy getting ready for the arrival of Samuel's "Brubber" or "Seesa", as you can see in these photos. Sam and I installed a new faucet in the kitchen (after Gran and Grandad rescued us by bringing over a special wrench that we needed). We also painted our entryway a very bold shade of green. We are all loving the warm weather, but still have four foot snow banks. Today we noticed that we have flowers pushing up through the snow by our porch. (Everyone sees that belly, right?) { Thursday, April 17, 2008 | Comment # }    Sorry it has been so long since the last update. I know some of you like to see Samuel a bit more frequently. Things have been a bit busy with the quarter ending and my Colby-Sawyer class ending in three weeks. I feel like I haven't been seeing much of Sam either, so I don't think I'll be doing the "second job" thing next year. Thankfully the good people of Henniker and Weare approved a pay-raise for me. Sam has been working hard on talking, and the more he figures out the more fun it is. It isn't always easy -- "gah" means plow, car, and cat -- but it is fun to watch him learn. His other favorite thing is the mud. Our snow is finally starting to melt and our driveway is one big mud puddle. Beth lets him play in it, but it usually ends with him falling in a puddle and I see lots of muddy pants and boots when I come home. { Saturday, April 05, 2008 | Comment # } |
