Mr. Fixit and His Mommy { Monday, February 18, 2008 | Comment # }  This winter just refuses to quit. The only place I've seen more snow was at the Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood. I went out to shovel this morning and immediately came back in to ask Beth to call our neighbor with the front-end loader who dug us out once before and pushed our snow banks back. So when you go look at these photos of our house keep in mind that the snow banks were already knocked down once by huge truck, and I shoveled three feet off the tops about 48 hours ago. Now it's raining. Yuck. { Wednesday, February 13, 2008 | Comment # }   Beth and Samuel have been in Georgia all week, leaving me alone in a very quiet house. Usually, when I get home from work Samuel is waiting in the window with a paper cat on a popsicle stick, waving it up and down and meowing. I don't know how he decided this was the best way to welcome me home, but it is a nice sort of greeting. Beth was nice enough to tape the cat in the window so I've still had that to come home to all week. Just to remind everyone, the baby is going to be here in three short months.
