 It was a big weekend here. Nana, Papa, and Uncle Tim came up from Virginia so that Kevin and Tim could help with construction and Nana could play with Sam and garden with Beth. To give you an idea of how much we acomplished, all we had on Friday was a floor and one wall. It took a lot of work to get that floor and wall, but now, as Kevin said, it really looks like a structure. I'm exhausted, but we're really happy with everything so far. Sorry for being busy lately, but I will only be busier once the summer starts. School is winding down, and work on our porch continues. We have the floor finished, and one wall is up. The next step is ripping into the roof to attach the porch rafters, which should be exciting and messy. It's so nice taking walks as a family that we may have to invest in a child-size baffler. Or maybe I can fit a stroller with a bug net... I'll let you know what I come up with. Beth ate her first slice of real cheese pizza on Friday, and so far Sam's stomach isn't complaining.
