![]() We had a great trip to Georgia. Samuel slept the entire flight down and back, and parking at Logan turned out to be much easier than expected. We had a lot of fun visiting with Samuel's GA grandparents and his Auntie Ashley, and our trip to the Georgia Aquarium was a highlight. Samuel loved the whole thing, but he liked the jelly fish and the penguins best of all. I tried to get him interested in the seals and otters by calling them "Mables," but he wasn't fooled. { Wednesday, April 25, 2007 | Comment # } ![]() As part of the Continuing Quest to Eat Everything, we will now travel to Georgia and eat it and all its peaches. { Friday, April 20, 2007 | Comment # } ![]() Nana is always good luck for snow days. We seem to have one every time she visits, so this picture is appropriate for today, my third snow day in April. If I entered every raffle and bought every candle/cookie/sticker my students tried to sell me we would be broke, so my general policy is to never give them any money. But I did throw down a couple bucks to enter a raffle for $100 to the iTunes music store... and I won! I never win those things. Let me know if you've heard anything really good lately. { Thursday, April 12, 2007 | Comment # }

![]() (i.) Screen porch off the kitchen, to be started as soon as weather allows. We love eating/relaxing outside, but the bugs of Baker Hill just won't allow it. (ii.) Build entryway/mudroom, and move the front door to main house. The current entryway is annoying at best, and with the mud that we have around here it will be nice to have a place to leave muddy boots. Especially next spring when young Samuel encounters mud for the first time. (iii.) Dormers. Those of you who have been up to our bedroom know why these are needed. We've been without ventilation and illumination for too long. I think we've finally settled on this combination, though the list of projects has changed many times and could change again. We're going to be very busy, and probably won't be done until Christmas, but we're very excited anyway. Luckily Samuel's Grandad retired, and his Papa and Uncle Somchai are going to cash in some time off, so we're going to have lots of help. { Thursday, April 05, 2007 | Comment # } ![]() Just one of the guys, helping us plan for a full summer's worth of work. Actually, it will end up being a full spring, summer, and fall worth of work. Should I spill the beans on what we're planning or let it be a surprise when you stop by for a visit? { Sunday, April 01, 2007 | Comment # } |
