Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Lots has happened in ten days:

Samuel tried solid food for the first time, and rather enjoyed it. Unfortunately it resulted in renewed intestinal distress, so we're going to hold off on the bananas for another month.
His gut might not be ready for food, but his mouth is -- his first tooth broke through this week.
Auntie Maryanna and her boyfriend Cory visited us this week during their spring break. We had a great time with them, and it was Cory who discovered the new tooth.
Samuel, Beth, Maryanna, and Cory went to Boston to visit Melissa and John in their new house. Beth can't wait to go back. Samuel spent the day in Boston in the Ergo carrier, and it is by far the best baby carrier we've tried.

Did you hear about Doug and Kristin's big news? We're very excited for them. I'm also excited to be kicking Doug's butt in his NCAA pool, though Virginia Tech did give me a scare last night.

We got dumped on today. The snow behind our house is up to my thighs. For some reason we'd never let Samuel touch snow, so I brought a handful to the door.
