we like snow.

Here's our latest thought: do large storms really trigger labor to start? Will Ernesto come close enough to help our cause?

In non-baby news, Beth's brother starts high school tomorrow. Good luck Uncle Tim!

We'll do our best to start updating daily. Like you, we're just waiting and waiting, trying keep Beth rested. We're so glad that all of you are excited too.

We've never eaten as much ice cream as we have this summer. This is a pregnancy ritual that I hope will resume next summer when Baby is a year old. (Can a one year old even eat ice cream? I have so much to learn.)

I love this weather. As Gram would have said, "This is God's weather."

Today:
  1. Brought the bathroom within a lock of being finished. Trim is up, door is painted, handles are on.
  2. Stopped by the Spring Ledge Farm Stand in New London for some NH corn and plums. The plums look like large-ish cherries, and they are delicious.
  3. Ate two sets of leftovers. Lunch was Beth's leftovers from dinner with Ann, Dan, Krista, Taylor, Jamie, and Matt, who gave us a very nice mini-shower the other night. Dinner was leftovers from our visit with Beth's Aunt Jennie (and family), who came for a week and cooked up a storm for us.
  4. Around 6:30 p.m. Beth called me outside to see a hundred or more big blue dragonflies hovering above our yard, devouring mosquitos. I've never seen so many dragonflies at work in such a small area.
  5. Baby Countdown: 23 days.
