We've returned home from a week of swimming in Concord, just in time for the heat to crank up. The local swimming hole still alludes us, though we haven't been looking that hard ever since Melissa mentioned high bacteria counts to Beth. I guess we'll just have to plan another trip to Maine (see photo).

I just finished this great book. I had heard many great things about it, and Beth and Ann bought it for me at a used book sale, finally giving me a good excuse to read it.

You might have noticed that the "linking" section has grown recently, for a few reasons. The previously mentioned Colin has been added, as have pictures of the young lad here. You'll also notice that Dylan's family has welcomed wee Avery, so Dylan's blog is now twice as cute. And, last but not least, Doug and Kristin have joined the blogging world with news regarding their upcoming adventures in Amsterdam. There aren't any babies on their page, but you might learn that about 30% of all Dutch babies are born at home.
