 Port Angeles, Washington (Holga) We watched Spanglish last night, and the best part of the movie is when Adam Sandler's character, a chef, has an egg sandwich. The sandwich features a fried egg with yolk dripping from the edges of the bread. It looked so good that I made a couple replicas (real bread, egg, swiss, tomato, lettuce, mayo) for our lunch today.Follow that up with a little frisbee in the backyard, and it's been a good afternoon. { Saturday, May 28, 2005 | Comment # }  Portland, OR (Nikon CoolPix 4500) We finally saw Sideways last night, and it was very good. Depressing and hilarious.Having breakfast at Bagel Works this morning and doing some work on a borrowed iBook, I wondered how long it will be before Concord offers wireless internet for all. Beth and I got to see a show Friday night -- our first in about two years -- and it was really good.All these fun activities, and the real highlight of the weekend was hanging out with Sadie. (P.S.  Concord, New Hampshire (Nikon CoolPix 4500) More spring greenery. A family of beavers have created a fertile crescent down behind the house that is filled with green plants and wildlife. I've seen the adult beavers at work, two baby beavers playing in the shallows, two Great Blue Herons fishing, and a few deer. Two days ago I took the dogs down to the water and they were happy to get muddy and explore the beaver trails while I took a few photos.I'm off to visit Noble High School in North Berwick, Maine tomorrow to observe for the day.
