We are back in N.H., the road trip is over, and jobs we have not. We had a great time moving across the country and up and down the coasts, but now we're savoring a few days outside the car.

While in North Carolina we got some sunburn, ate well, did a lot of boogie-boarding, and played a lot of cards.

While in Virginia we went to see Winged Migration, and Beth and I both recommend it highly. We also walked around D.C. on a day when it was way too hot for us to be just walking around.

While in Maryland I had the option of eating a softshell crab sandwich. When I asked the waitress what would be in my sandwich she said, "It's a whale." Not being from Maryland, I had no idea what she was talking about.
