What do the location of Antietam, the Las Vegas located-tallest building west of the Missisippi and the number of the first Apollo mission to land on the moon all have in common?
They're all answers we got wrong while at Trivia Night last night.
But our team (us, Scott and Scott's friend) still managed to come in 3rd, winning a $15 gift certificate that just about covered the cost of our beers. Although trailing for much of the game, after a poor showing in the picture round (who IS Josh Duhamel?), we made our comeback in the finals, thanks to Dan.
He correctly knew who holds the record for the most albums sold in America by a female artist, so we scored big in the bonus round and pulled into 3rd.
Next time, we will have to do better because Dan says, "3rd place is the second loser."
In case you are wondering:
*Antietam is in Maryland (Dan thought so, but we went with Virginia)
*The tallest building west of the Missisippi is the Stratosphere in Las Vegas (we had no idea)
*The first mission to land on the Moon was Apollo 11 (again, Dan thought it was 11, but we went with Apollo 7)
*The female musical artist is SHANIA TWAIN. How did Dan know this one??
