- ICWP was officially granted not-for profit status by the Internal Revenue Service of the USA.
The registration is retrospective from 11th February 2000.
- A number of events are planned for March to celebrate International Women's Day, 8 March, in Boston, USA; KItchener, Canada; Bucharest, Romania; Mesa, Arizona; New York, USA. More....
- We have a new logo and site colours, uploaded January 24th.
The new vibrant and expressive logo was created by Member Roxanne Wach.

November 2006
- Tanja Pineda joined the Board of Trustees as Director of Public Relations.
- A Grants to Theatres programme was set up.
- The Accounts Audit report was received. Members in good standing can request a copy of the report by emailing the Secretary.
- The 501-c-3 Application form for IRS nonprofit status in USA has been completed and sent, thanks to Jill Hughes, ICWP Treasurer and Jonathan Levi, pro bono attorney.
