  • Playwrights UK Retreat announced for 24-29 September.
    The retreat will take place at The John Osborne Arvon Centre, Shropshire, UK. More....

January

  • ICWP was officially granted not-for profit status by the Internal Revenue Service of the USA.
    The registration is retrospective from 11th February 2000.
  • A number of events are planned for March to celebrate International Women's Day, 8 March, in Boston, USA; KItchener, Canada; Bucharest, Romania; Mesa, Arizona; New York, USA. More....
  • We have a new logo and site colours, uploaded January 24th.
    The new vibrant and expressive logo was created by Member Roxanne Wach.
  • The date of the Annual Meeting has been set for 13-16th April. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Trustees, or want to know more about what that involves, please contact the Secretary, Jenni Munday (email below).

November 2006

  • Tanja Pineda joined the Board of Trustees as Director of Public Relations.
  • A Grants to Theatres programme was set up.
  • The Accounts Audit report was received. Members in good standing can request a copy of the report by emailing the Secretary.
  • The 501-c-3 Application form for IRS nonprofit status in USA has been completed and sent, thanks to Jill Hughes, ICWP Treasurer and Jonathan Levi, pro bono attorney.
