WHY YOUR DONATION IS NEEDED

• You can help us in our aims in relation to supporting women playwrights. One aim is to assist with professional development through education and training in an international setting.
  
• International conferences, retreats and workshops provide excellent opportunities for education and training, as well as fulfilling the broader aim of inter-cultural understanding. The cost of attending such events can prove to be beyond the personal means of many playwrights, even with partial financial support from Arts Councils and other funding bodies.
  
• You can help to fill that gap and provide financial assistance to women playwrights wishing to attend such events.
  
• The Board of Trustees has set up a special fund which will be paid out to candidates whose applications to the Board are successful.
  
• This fund will be on-going and any donations made to it will be used specifically for the purpose outlined above. Each year there are several major events of relevance to playwrights, so your donation is always needed.
