Personal Stuff

• I am a lecturer in the chemistry department at Towson University.
• I was a postdoctoral associate in the lab of Derek Tan at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
• I received my Ph.D. in 2002 in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania in the labs of Jeff Winkler.
• I received my Sc.B. in 1996 from Brown University with a concentration in Chemistry, where I worked in the lab of Kathy Parker.

I am or have been involved in way too many other things...

• I'm a co-manager of the Fink, a project that ports Unix software to Mac OS X.
• I'm a reasonably-young old fogey in the Brown Band.
• I was active in several organizations at Brown/RISD Hillel.
• I'm no longer a consultant in the Student Consulting Program.
• I'm no longer involved in Brown's Sexual Assault Peer Education program.
• I drink a lot of coffee.
