    News:

  • After losing to Harvard 5-3 in the semifinals on Friday night, the Bears dropped a 3-2 decision to Minnesota in the consolation game of the AWCHA National Championship to claim fourth place overall.


  • The Bears finished tied for second in the league standings and was seeded third in the ECAC tournament. The Bears lost to #6 seed Dartmouth 3-0 on March 12 in the ECAC Quarterfinals.
  • Netminder Ali Brewer '00 and the Bears finished the regular season with 13 shutouts, an ECAC record.
  • Ali Brewer '00 has been named one of three finalists for the 1999 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, women's ice hockey's Most Outstanding Player. The Brown Daily Herald ran an article about her. Teammate Tara Mounsey '01 was also one of the 10 semifinalists.
