Some may consider them to be the best band in the world. They are right. Some may not agree, but they will burn for their blasphemy. Why do fans of Phish feel this way? If you have to ask this, you have not seen (heard) them live. Their shows are a mixture of expert musicianship, mind-blowing improvisation, transcendent jams, side-splitting humor and pure joy that had not been seen in the world of rock (and I use that term loosely) before Phish. If you want to learn more about Phish, I suggest that you head to the official Phish web site or the Phish.Net web site. If you want to hear what Phish sounds like, head to The Phish Sounds Page, which is a continous effort that I have undertaken to list all of the Phish sound clips available on the web. If you would like to trade Phish (or other) tapes, take a look at my tapelist and then e-mail me.

The off-site pages that I link to all have something special to offer over the run-of-the-mill Phish page. The only exception to this rule is that if you link to this page, or one of my other pages, I will include you in the list at the end. Let me know if you want to trade links...

My Phish Stuff

The Phish Sounds Page- The biggest collection of Phish sound clips on the web! Need to fill up that hard drive? This is the place. (Frame-free version here)

My Phish Tape Covers- My wife Ann Sharfstein and I have designed a bunch of Phish tape covers. Come check them out! I have links to other tape covers here as well, in case you don't like ours.

How To Trade Tapes- I searched on the web for a guide to tape trading. While I found many helpful pages, there was no all inclusive guide. So I wrote one. Check it out before you make your next trade! (Hosted at Phish.Net)

New Song Information Archive- Are you confused by all of the new songs Phish played in 1997? Check out this page for lyrics and sound clips from most of the new songs.

Unearthed Gamehendge Art- I found these pictures on the Phish.Net archive a while back and decoded them. They are some very well-done drawings of the Gamehendge epic by Bill Yudichak. He requests that "people can only use it for private use and can't make money off of any of it." Please honor his wishes, I would hate to have to remove the page because some people don't understand intellectual property rights.

Phish.Net Archive Graphics Index Page- The Phish.Net ftp server has many great Phish graphics. Unfortunately, there was no easy way to tell what was in there without downloading the pictures. As part of a project with the Phish.Net WWW Working Group I indexed all of the pictures. This page is really a rough draft, but it is still pretty useful so I decided to link it here.

Hose Thread Archive- The "Hose" thread, was a thread on rec.music.phish in which the authors give definitions and examples of "Hose" moments in Phish's music. The "Hose" term comes from a Carlos Snatana quote where he likened music to water, the audience to flowers, and Phish to a hose. Phish doesn't create the music, just guides it to the audience. This thread is the Phish.Net at its finest (It is also very old but I'm leaving it here because it makes for some pretty good reading).

My Old Posts To RMP I used to collect all of my posts to rec.music.phish in this file. I stopped doing it a while back, but if you feel like reading them, here they are.If you want to see what I've been up to lately on rmp, you can look me up on Google Groups.

ZZYZX's Phish Stats Page Want to know how many times YEM was played in 1991? Want to know how many times Bouncin' has ever been played? Too many ;-) ZZYZX has undertaken the huge task of finding out these and many other obscure statistics about the frequency of Phish songs. Very impressive. Also a little bit scary.
